"The Christmas Dinner this year was again held at the excellent Restaurant

'La Chesnaie' in Quessoy.

 I can say that everyone enjoyed it and at the end the singing of some Christmas Songs (Carols)

in 4 languages: French, English, German and Dutch.

PLANT SWAP EVENING

Cette année, nous avons visité l’Île de Bréhat, « la perle rose » ou « l’Île aux fleurs », située à quelques encablures au nord de Paimpol.

Le temps étant de la partie, notre petit groupe de 16 membres a pu jouir d’un climat agréable, chaud et ensoleillé, durant toute la journée.

Au cours de l’après-midi, les responsables nous avaient  organisé la visite, très instructive, de l’ancien moulin à marée. Puis, nous avons arpenté une pente raide, quelque peu ardue à certains d’entre nous, pour accéder au très beau panorama qui s’offrait à nous à partir de la chapelle St Michel.

Un grand merci aux responsables pour nous avoir fait bénéficier de cette très belle et très agréable sortie.

This year we had a visit to the very beautiful l'Ile-de-Brehat, just to the north of Paimpol.

It was quite well attended by about 16 members. The weather was kind to us, warm (sometimes hot) and sunny all day.

The committee had arranged for us in the afternoon a guided visit to the old tidal mill, which was very interesting.

Also, we climbed some steep steps to see the little chapel Saint Michel - hard for some of us but well worth the view when we arrived.
